AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): On the occasion of Jana-Shiksha Divas, CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Choudhury has lambasted the BJP-IPFT Govt over privatization of school education in the name of “Vidyajyoti”. Jitendra Choudhury while addressing at Agartala Town Hall said, “In the name of Vidya Jyoti, it is Andha-Jyoti which is being implemented, just to snatch the free education set up from the masses. After so many years of independence, such unfortunate things are happening here. Though the Govt was established in a democratic way and displays itself in a different look the reality has remained the same".

Former CM Manik Sarkar, Ganamukti Parishad, and other leaders of the communist party were present on the occasion.
