According to the deceased's husband's claim, the housewife named Mallika Bill got engaged with another young man through social media few months ago. On Friday, the housewife's husband caught her and the man from Agartala Radhanagar area. After the incident, the housewife allegedly consumed poison at her In-law's house.

Immediately her husband rushed her to GB Hospital. On Sunday morning the housewife succumbed to death. Her body has been sent to GB hospital morgue for autopsy. After the post mortem her body was handed over to her family members. It is known that eight years ago, the housewife got socially married to Amal Bill, resident of Bamutia area. This incident casted a shadow of mourning among her family members.

However, police will investigate the incident to find out the actual reason behind the death.
