AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Inhuman moves with selfish political outlook continue under Tripura BJP Govt and now for CM Biplab Deb’s walk, exercise space all the small shops around the MLA quarter, Sishu Bihar school, Umakanta English Medium school have been evicted, which has triggered mass-resentment. The inhuman move excluded vendors to get any compensation or alternative arrangement for the sake of minimum humanity from the State Govt. The shopkeepers on Sunday were not allowed to remove their shops or argue but AMC just bulldozed the shops and took away everything from the area leaving the vendors devastated.

A woman who lost her shop and was crying said, “I need to earn 100 rupees at least every day for my daughter’s education. We vote for the leaders. But our vote has no value as no Govt is not thinking about us. How to survive, it has turned into a matter of worry now”.

The drive was conducted by AMC and AMC workers were deployed for the bulldozing work.
