AGARTALA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Children are allegedly being given plastic rice at the Anganwadi Center in Rabindra Debbarma Para of Takma ADC Village under Shantir Bazar Sub-division.
Such an allegation was raised by parents and over receiving plastic rice from the Anganwadi Center anst parents in the group visited the Anganwadi centre along with the rice.
"Rice is not in normal shape. Undoubtedly if the children eat those rice will fall sick, but the question is .......how can the Center provide such foodstuff to the children?", said a guardian.
Now, it remains to be seen what steps the Anganwadi Centre and Higher Department will take to verify the incident.
