AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): BJP’s infighting is now reported in Belonia. BJP party members allegedly beat up Bharat Chandra Nagar’s Panchayat Pradhan's husband and snatched Rs 1 Lakh.

Reportedly, Sanjit Chowdhury, husband of Laxmi Choudhury (Panchayat Pradhan of Bharat Chandra Nagar) resident of Manurmukh Tabla Chowmuhani area was attacked by same party (BJP) members. The incident took place on 4^th Dec in the Manurmukh Tabla Chaumuni area of Bilonia, an allegation raised against Rajan Debnath, Duryodhan Dey, and Suman Dutta. Also, allegations were raised against them of snatching Rs 1 lakh from his pocket.

After the attack, an FIR was registered at Belonia PS on 9^th Dec but the Police citing various excuses refusing to provide the FIR copy to the victim Sanjit Chowdhury. It is alleged even after repeatedly informing the PS, the Panchayat Pradhan is not getting any help from the police. Also alleged the SDPO Shoumya Debbarma avoided confronting the victim.

The Panchayat Pradhan, Laxmi Choudhury demanded justice against the attack.

However, where the ruling party members are not getting justice then it can say opposition party members to the common public are going through terrible situations from getting justice. It could say the law and order in Tripura deteriorated totally.
