AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN): Thinking to keep money in Bank account? Now banks are also not safe. Reportedly, Prime Minister's Housing Scheme money is disappearing from Banks. Such an allegation was made by a daily wager whose Housing Scheme money disappeared from Tripura State Co-operative Bank.
According to the details it is known, Prime Minister's Housing Scheme money Rs 48000 was credited to Biswajit Das’s Tripura State Co-operative Bank’s account. He is a resident of Madhya Brajapur area under Bishalgarh Sub-Division. Das withdrew Rs 20,000 and Rs 8,000 from the bank twice earlier for construction in his house.
When Das came on Wednesday to withdraw money again he found Rs 20,000 missing from his Bank Account. Where the PM requested Country’s citizens to open an account in the bank but allegations are raising oppositely of disappearing money from Bank account.
However, on being asked about the matter to the Bank authorities, the authority allegedly responded with negligence and just said that they will look into the matter. The negligent behaviour of some bank employees is directly falling on the poor working people.
Now it remains to be seen whether the victim Biswajit Das will get back the disappeared money or not.
