AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Dec 15 (TIWN): Modi Govt's Cabinet Minister Ramdas Athawale complained about the law and order issue in Tripura. He has sought security for his Party's State President Satyajit Das after he allegedly faced attacks by a militant group. In a letter written to DGP Tripura, Pravin More, an official sought security to party State President alleging an attack took place on him on 1st December at Killa-Jampuijala road. Reacting to the letter, TMC convener Subal Bhowmik said, “Tripura’s deteriorated law and order is now not just a matter within the state but it is being discussed with concerns outside the state too. But PM Modi has been consistently praising Tripura and Biplab Deb’s rule though the nation witnessed how much violence and rigging took place in the last Municipal poll, but today PM Modi’s own cabinet member has raised a finger at the law and order condition”.

“Tripura is undoubtedly reeling under Jungle-raj and such letters strengthen the claim further. PM Modi can’t see the law and order issues in Tripura. However, PM Modi’s mask has been unmasked and a Central Minister himself has written the letter to DGP accepting that no law and order is existing in this state”, said Subal Bhowmik.
