AGARTALA, December 28 (TIWN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state committee today formed 72 members Central Committee with Shankar Deb as a President, Krishna Jyoti Bhattacharjee as a General Secretary (GS) and Bishwanath Rudra Pal as a cashier of the newly made central committee of BJP state wing.
As part of the programme today the BJP state committee staged a rally across the capital city holding 12 points charter of demands. The 12 points charter of demands include central pay scale, 45% pending DA, to provide pension scheme for the state Jute Mill employees along with others.
However asked about their future movement with the demands the BJP state President Sudhindra Das Gupta said that in future the demands will be placed with the state govt. and they will move for further movement.
At least 200 representatives were present during the meeting today.
