AGARTALA, Nov 29 (TIWN): A 65 years old woman died in a paddy field after being electrocuted. The incident occurred at Champaknagar, Jirania.

The demise woman has been identified as Shovarani Debbarma. According to the family, Sovarani went out to the paddy field and was working but suddenly she fell down after electrocuted.

Noticing this local informed her family and she was taken to Jirania Hospital by Fire Service personnel immediately. The on-duty Doctor at Jirania hospital referred her to Agartala GB Hospital where she was declared dead.
