Huge numbers of properties are being brunt, women are assaulted, opposition party members, and candidates are severely attacked. CPI-M worker Sujit Das’s shop was burnt in Kamalpur and in Agartala today morning Dilip Deb’s shop was vandalized. Loos from road goers have come into video evidence, whereas many vehicles were damaged in post result attacks. People here left with no room from grievance from Police Dept to Election Commission.BJP on Sunday secured a clean sweep while the Trinamool Congress emerged as a strong political force in the Tripura civic elections for which polling was held on November 25.

But the entire poll was held amid terror and massive rigging. Left, TMC, and Tipra Motha all the anti-BJP parties have criticized the BJP for its massive poll violence and intimidation. At the same time parties also condemned the Election Commission and Police’s role. TMC convener Subal Bhowmik said, “At least 5 workers of TMC are seriously injured in BJP led attacks. Statewide massive attacks are going on. People of Agartala will not forget about the incidents and vote-rigging of 25th November along with the uncontrolled violence. BJP thinks it will continue to rule Tripura forever”.
