AGARTALA, Nov 29 (TIWN): Tripura Trinamool has lashed out at the BJP Govt over money extortion trend going on in the state, saying, “BJP must stop Chanda-baazi in this state”.

Upon the common men, especially opposition families, heavy extortion-related tortures have been done in the last 43 months.

Reacting to this culture, TMC convener Subal Bhowmik said, “At least 5 workers of TMC are seriously injured in BJP led attacks. Statewide massive attacks are going on centering the Poll. The poll is over and now BJP should stop attacking innocent people. People of Agartala will not forget about the incidents and vote-rigging of 25^th November along with the uncontrolled violence. BJP thinks it will continue to rule Tripura forever”.

Bhowmik alleged TMC members in various places of Tripura were asked to give Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 at least.

“Many critics, surveys had claimed, TMC will not get a single seat in this poll and not even 2% vote will be received by TMC but we have emerged as the second leading party after BJP amid massive tortures on voters and rigging were conducted”, said Subal Bhowmik.
