AGARTALA, Nov 27 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Choudhury has lambasted Tripura CM Biplab Deb for his fake claim about "No Poll violence happened in Tripura in this Municipal Poll held on November 25 and the Election was held like a Festival". Reacting over the statement Jitendra Choudhury said, "CM Biplab deb must be ashamed of his reaction to the media after 24 hours passed since the election. The enemies of civilization will never like to see people walking on the path of truth and honesty. What BJP has done, everyone has seen not only in the media in Tripura but in social media, national media everywhere. Tripura people had an illusion about BJP and today it is over forever". Jitendra Choudhury also mentioned that the idol of former CM Dasarath Deb which was demolished by the BJP on September 8 by entering the party office as a part of media and opposition house burning, has been replaced with a new idol.

He further recalled how many statues were destroyed by the BJP party workers in the last 44 months.
