AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): TIPRA MOTHA Chairman Pradyot Manikya expressed resentment over Tripura Administration’s massive failure to follow Supreme Court’s guidelines. He also requested the Supreme Court of India to “introspect” whether its orders are followed up or not. Reacting over the Municipal Poll rigging, Pradyot Manikya said, “In Lok Sabha Election also 100% rigging was held in 2019 when I was in Congress. I filed complaints to the Election Commission, I went everywhere from High Court to Supreme Court. What can I say today when all videos of rigging have proven the terrible condition of the state. The Supreme Court must follow up to ensure its order is followed. Only passing orders is not enough”.

“It is a very sad day for democracy when people can not cast their votes. Everyone has the right to choose a candidate. The election rigging has terribly snatched people’s voting rights' ', said Pradyot Manikya.

The statement came after massive poll rigging was organized in Tripura today in a total violation of human rights and Supreme Court’s order.
