AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): After Municipal poll was completed, Congress said that the ‘Constitution is in danger today’ and the 'Democracy has been fully murdered'.

Congress said that a Congress leader Hare Krishna Bhowmik alias lawyer was threatened by BJP miscreants and organised an attack on his house last night not to cast vote. Not only that in various areas, miscreants threatened Congress activists last night by saying not to rush at Voting centers. 

The congress leaders also raised allegation against BJP miscreants that many senior citizen were not allowed to cast vote by saying “Your Vote has been casted”

Reacting on the Poll rigging of Tripura Municipal Poll the congress party stated that TMC and CPI-M candidates, agents were also pushed out from the Voting center by BJP miscreants. Congress candidates from Ward-4, 21, 25 were not allowed to cast votes.

In Melaghar- Ward No- 8,9,10, 11 massive Poll rigging happened and polling agents were pushed out after being beaten up. 

Congress also stated that BJP increased their vote Percentage by giving ‘CHAPPA VOTE’. In Sonamura Ward No-5 after 2:30 pm ‘CHAPPA VOTE’ was casted by BJP Miscreants.
