AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): CM Biplab Deb on Saturday has slammed MLA Asish Das who resigned from BJP and joined TMC calling him a 'Bostro-heen' MLA.

Deb targeted Asish Das over his bare body protest saying, “Days after the MLA had joined the party (TMC) he surrendered his clothes to them ? It happens when you quit a cultured party like BJP”.

“Just think what kind of party TMC is where MLAs show their bare body !!”, Biplab Deb told the people who gathered in BJP’s programme ahead of the Municipal poll.

The controversy started since the newly joined Tripura Trinamool MLA had staged a bare body protest in front of the State Election Commission office after the Commission protesting against no VVPAT and no CCTV camera uses in the Municipal poll.

MLA Asish Das is the first MLA to join the opposition party from BJP.
