AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): Amid Supreme Court’s strict order to organize Free and Fair polls, Tripura Election Commission has decided to organize Election without any CCTV camera. TMC State Convener Subal Bhowmik announced that TMC is moving to the Supreme Court against it.

“Have you heard that in today’s time no VVPAT and CCTV cameras are used in polls ?”, asked Subal Bhowmik.

TMC leader Babul Supriyo also has accused the BJP Govt for its desperate attempt of poll rigging by not using CCTV cameras.

TMC has staged a protest against the unfair means of election.

At the same time, Tripura Govt has put huge restrictions on the media in the poll days.

In the Lok Sabha poll, due to CCTV cameras missing and various other issues over 400 centres were asked for re-polling. Tripura is turned into a sensitive zone for massive rigging and booth capturing. In this situation without CCTV, a free and fair poll is impossible.
