AGARTALA, Nov 16 (TIWN): Tripura former CM Manik Sarkar on Tuesday while addressing a scholarship distribution programme in Agartala said that Swami Vivekananda was although not a communist but ideology his concept was against communal hatred which is being done by RSS, BJP now. His concept was based on service to humanity.

“Vivekananda was not a Communist, but if he was alive today, what would happen that I do not know. Only by surviving for 39 years, he brought the revolution of humanity”, said Manik Sarkar.

“The great advice of Vivekananda was on the service of people which is applicable in all times. Today what is happening in this nation ? Planwise through Viswa Hindu Parishad, RSS the Muslims and Christians are being attacked so that a particular Govt can rule in the long run. They are trying to take our society in the wrong direction, whereas it’s the time that all should stand together against such communal disturbance's blueprinters……why are such things going on here ? Why will mosques be attacked ? Then when reporters will report, they will be arrested.........this is the only work of RSS Governed BJP Govt......they are the followers of Hitler and Mussolini.........…..", said Sarkar.

"Vivekananda long back had advised that instead of going to temples, it is better to spend time on sports like things. It is more important to serve men instead of going to temples”, Manik Sarkar added.
