AGARTALA, Nov 12 (TIWN): Amid CM Biplab Deb is busy in his luxurious heli-rides with party leaders and family members, 10323 teachers whom he promised before 2018 election to give permanent jobs are left to die like insects. The death toll has reached 113 as one more teacher Ajit Debnath has died of heart attack. The 52 years old terminated teacher was undergoing tremendous tension since he lost his job at this age. He was employed in Jirania Chowdhury Bari Girls School but over 20 months, the teachers are salary-less since termination. His family members were seen lamenting over his death and tragic end. His old mother was devastated to see her son’s dead body.
Reacting over his death, terminated teacher Kishore Chakraborty said, “The deceased teacher has died of heart attack. He was reeling under severe tensions and out of tension he became a heart attack patient. Earlier also he was admitted in hospital due to heart issues and today early this morning he died. Many teachers are falling sick and one by one dying. Everyday, there is unexpected news about 10323 teachers. The Govt only assures that it will solve our matter but when ? I request the Govt to save us immediately”.
