AGARTALA, Nov 12 (TIWN): EPF Pensioners Association have demanded equal pensions/ salaries like the other state govt employees.

The pensioners said that the Govt is violating the High Court’s order.

"We are demanding equal payments like state govt employees for TRTC employees and other PSUs employees but unfortunately in CPI-M regime, we were never paid like state govt employees. Now the new government has been our only hope but it is also behaving in the same way", said the pensioners. .

Their four continuous demands which have been placed before Transport Dept Chairman are  :

1.     Govt. undertaking EPF Pensioners’ pensions to be equalled as the state govt. employees from 16/ 11/ 1995.

2.     Like other corporations, leave encashment to be given to TRTC,

3.     Including all the interest the owned gratuity money should be soon provided,

4.     High Court’s verdict on W.P. © No. 452 of 2012 should be followed.
