Dumboor’s Helipad Construction damaged Nature, waste of State funds, only for luxury of Heli-lover Biplab Deb & his Party

AGARTALA, Nov 12 (TIWN): Ahead of Election when roads are deplorable, it is easy for the BJP leaders, Ministers, MLAs to travel via airways.

Election is ahead and no road development project was held by the BJP led Tripura Govt and the existing roads were hardly brought under maintenance.

Although Manik Sarkar’s helicopter journeys became BJP’s poll campaigning issue in the 2018 Election, in the last 42 months Biplab Deb’s Heli-ride’ rates crossed all CMs’ heli ride history at public taxes. Now ahead of the election, a helipad was developed in the Doombur which not only causes air and noise pollution but also puts species at risk. Did the Govt consult with the Environmental dept before doing that ?

However, it will benefit the BJP party for ease campaigning and frequent landing of helicopters there and benefit the selfie-lover CM.

The Government's claim about tourism development is baseless as Dumboor is already famous just like Tripura Sundari temple. Govt’s expenditure in such popular tourist spots are just show-off and useless when many historical places are left without maintenance and needs urgent road development but the Govt has no focus.

It clearly shows the helipad was only developed ahead of CM's visit, otherwise, why did not CM visit before the construction ???
