AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): Over the consistent violence on TMC candidate’s houses and family members, TMC members today demonstrated dharna in front of Agartala Police Headquarter demanding Justice. “For how long BJP’s goons will continue their attacks on TMC. The violence was started from attacking Abhishek Banerjee’s convoy and now the attacks are continuing on TMC candidates” replied TMC youth leader Sudip Raha on being asked for how long their Protest movement will be continued.Over the role of Police Sudip Raha said “Tripura Police has been playing the role of Biplab Deb’s slave” as attack has been going on one after another but no arrest yet has reported. During the protest movement Rajib Banerjee asked “Why is BJP afraid? They have to keep faith in the Constitution. If BJP has beliefs on Public then why does BJP need to hold attacks and to create violence?"

Reacting to the consistent attack on TMC, Banerjee asked, “Setting fire, threatening candidates, attacking on candidate’s family members’ fall under what kind of Democracy?”

“It is a dark lesson for Tripura”, says Rajib Banerjee over the ongoing violence.

“Ruling Govt will be defeated if free and fair Poll will be done and that’s why BJP is afraid as no development has been done. Govt employees are resented over this Govt and no one can state under this regime to be happy” added Rajib Banerjee.

TMC alleged, despite having proper evidence and CCTV footage, Police escaped from arresting  the violence creators.

“Will not leave Tripura’s ground. Protest will be continuing and we promise we will win Tripura under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee”, said TMC MP Sushmita Deb.
