AGARTALA, Nov 10 (TIWN): BJP backed miscreant’s organised attack and set fire on CPIM candidate Prabodh Das’s house at Ward No-30 under Sabrum Nagar Panchayat late last night around 11 Pm, reportedly.

Centering Poll BJP members started putting party flags near CPIM candidate Prabodh Das house but suddenly the miscreants organised attacks on his house last night around 11 Pm while Das and his family members were inside the room. Miscreants thrown Petrol bomb into his house and set into fire but somehow the family brought the fire under control. Miscreants not only stopped there, they vandalised the main gate by hitting through Pulsar bike. No miscreants were identified as all they were covering their face with handkerchief.

The CPIM candidate, Prabodh Das alleged, Police rushed to the incident spot 1.5 hours later, since the incident was reported.

CPIM candidate, Prabodh Das said that BJP knows well that they will defeat as common People are not supporting the BJP party anymore and those who are with BJP are all they are out of fear.

Das said over-confirmation of defeating BJP is organising attacks. Meanwhile  sources said, the attack was organised in support of BJP South District President Sabroom MLA Sankar Roy.

Over the Pre-poll attacks a panic situation has created in the entire area.
