AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): Not only with his foolish statements like “Internet was existing in the Mahabharata’s time” Tripura CM Biplab Deb has been spoiling the reputation of BJP leadership in Tripura but his various aggressive decisions have been damaging party’s base in state and expanding the infighting inside the BJP. All these, recently gave heavy mileage to Trinamool Congress (TMC) party which is trying to win in 2023 election in Tripura and already bagged one BJP MLA along with many other top leaders. Earlier in August month’s ending after the IPAC team visited Tripura to make a ground survey a drama was created in the heart of the capital city Agartala when Biplab Deb deployed a huge police force in the Woodland Park hotel and ultimately the IPAC team won in the Court battle, getting bails.

Yesterday Abhishek Banerjee’s rally was also attempted to be disrupted and Biplab Deb sent police to remove the stage from there. That incident soon drew national media attention and the matter ended with major defeat of Biplab Deb Govt in High Court and the programme was held in the TMC designated venue only in front Rabindra Bhawan.

TMC leader Kunal Ghosh has thanked BJP for helping TMC to get lakhs of voters in one day as centering Abhishek Banerjee’s arrival passengers, common men all were harassed.

In I-PAC house arrest, Biplab Deb Govt had lost in CJM Court whereas in Rabindra Bhawan venue case it lost in High Court.

Earlier, centering Ambassa incident and hotel Polo incident with Sayani Ghosh also gave TMC mileage.

Yesterday while addressing the gathering, TMC General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee said that BJP’s expiry date will be in February 2023.
