AGARTALA, Oct 30 (TIWN): As no FIR copy was given to Kunal Ghosh and his lawyers are unable to prepare for legal fight, TMC members sat in demonstration in the West Agartala PS.

Kunal Ghosh and his lawyers asked, if without FIR copy, he was interrogated.

Moreover, earlier in such an incident TMC members had to go to jail custody as no FIR copy was given to them before production in the Court and TMC lawyers could prepare legally. It happened in Ambassa in the month of September.

With such experiences, TMC is now in demand of FIR copy which is also an accused person’s legal right.

The FIR was lodged over Kunal Ghosh’s one statement during a speech at Sakuntala market.

At last TMC leaders and lawyers were allowed to see the FIR copy and to read it.
