AGARTALA, Oct 28 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress on Wednesday has announced that Abhishek Banerjee’s rally on 31st October is going to be historical.

The rally earlier was cancelled 3 times on September 15, September 16 and September 22 with various issues shown by the State Govt. However, finally, on 31st October, Abhishek Banerjee’s rally will be held and TMC said that it is going to be a historical one.

Abhishek Banerjee earlier faced attacks on him by BJP during his Matabari visit on August 2nd and in his next visit in August when he rushed to Tripura to rescue TMC members from police detention, a case was lodged against him which is now under High Court’s intervention.

A press meet was held today by Trinamool Congress requesting the people to join Abhishek Banerjee’s rally on 31st October in Agartala.

An indigenous leader Pariskshit Debbarma of BJP party also has joined TMC today.
