AGARTALA, Oct 23 (TIWN): Young aged man was reportedly beaten up by BSF Jawans without proper reason, later locals ghraoed two BSF Jawans, incident occurred in Narayanpur area, Kalyanpur.

A young aged man identified as Prasenjit Sarkar while returning home at night after finishing work, two BSF Jawans without proper reason stopped Prasenjit and started beaten him up. Noticing this locals gheraoed the BSF Jawans, and seeing no way the two BSF Jawans fired two round shots to control the situation.

However, in the BSF Jawans shot no injury was reported but centering the incident panic generated in the area. It is known that BSF Jawans in the name of checking often harass local people.
