AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): Over the communal violence in Bangladesh CPIM(L) placed a memorandum to Bangladesh Government and Bangladesh PM, Sheikh Hasina through Bangladesh Asst High Commissioner.
The memorandum was given by 8 delegation members of CPIM(L) under the leadership of CPIM state Secretary Partha Karmakar. It has been mentioned in the memorandum that the Bangladesh Government should take initiative to provide safety measures to the lives of Hindu, religious rights of Hindus and the security of Hindu property must be ensured. Strict action must be taken against the communal terrorists and to compensate to the Hindu victims in Bangladesh.
CPIM(L) state Secretary Partha Karmakar said that centering the inhuman attack on Hindus in Bangladesh, the BJP, RSS in the name of Hindu Jagaran Mancha poisoning the peaceful Social environment here and creating the communal split. The majority of people must come forward to protect the communal harmony.
