AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): Within a few hours of inauguration of the new vehicle, which TMC launched for its political campaigning ahead of Municipal Poll, BJP goons allegedly attacked it and vandalized it. TMC in a social media update informed that many people were injured in this incident. Today, Tripura Trinamool Congress has launched its drive to win the 2023 poll and kickstart for the upcoming Municipal Poll. The vehicle was launched for party propaganda and at the same time slogans were raised with the Mission of “Jitbe Tripura” under “Tripurar Jonyo Trinamool”. TMC convener Subal Bhowmik, leader Sushmita Dev were present during the inauguration programme. While interacting with media, TMC leader Sushmita Dev said, “The journey has started from today and inauguration of the programme has been conducted in Lake Chowmuhani market in Agartala. We will go to each area, each ward, each block with our Vision and talk to the common men”. But, within a few hours of the inauguration, BJP goons allegedly held an attack on TMC and vandalized the car.

In a tweet, the TMC party shared a video with the status, “Once again  @BjpBiplab  proves that he CANNOT bear the presence of  @AITCofficial  in Tripura! His GOONS have BRUTALLY attacked us on the very first day of our campaign.  Why is  @AmitShah  silent? What about the safety and security of people in Tripura? Where is Democracy?”
