Reportedly, the victim alleged that she is the second wife of the accused and after few days of their marriage, he started physically assaulting her. She further alleges that despite having two wives, he has relationships with many more women. Tapas Malakar also threatened that the housewife would be shot dead if she complains about it. 

 

The housewife on Thursday filed a case of domestic violence against Tapash Malakar at the West Agartala Women's Police Station. Tapas Malakar's wife further alleged that her husband claimed to be an activist of the ruling party by selling various items including brown sugar drug tablets.
