AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): Another terminated teacher, Promod Debbarma, a 48-year-old teacher passed away today without getting proper treatment at his home, Khowai Padmabil area. Reportedly, the teacher was going through Physical illness and after job loss due to the financial crisis, the teacher did not get proper treatment and left his last breath at his residence today. So far, 10,323 teachers' death toll have raised to 111. Reportedly, the teacher was going through Physical illness and after job loss due to the financial crisis, the teacher did not get proper treatment and left his last breath at his residence today. So far, 10,323 teachers' death toll have raised to 111.

Since the job loss many teachers committed suicide and many died without treatment due to financial crisis. 

A JMC member said, “The death toll expected to rise more and more, if the state Government does not come forward to rescue the teachers on time”.
