AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): No relief from fuel price hikes for the common men. Auto drivers in Agartala have slammed the Central Govt for its no control in the increasing prices of fuel. In one night, the CNG price has gone from Rs. 55 to Rs. 60 which has sparked heavy resentment. Talking to a vehicle driver, he told the media, “The Govt is not listening to anyone and whatever its wish its just doing. It has no concern about the common men. Whether price hikes or not, our works have to be continued but in one night 5 rupees hike is just shocking. There is no fare hike but we have to purchase CNG at a high price”.
“Not only CNG but all commodities prices are going higher. We are worried because we are unable to arrange minimum profits. At the same time, business is down. In such conditions, the prices are going high”, said the auto driver at TRTC Chowmuhani CNG station.
