AGARTALA, Oct 2 (TIWN): 4 surrendered NLFT militants have talked to the media day after they had returned to the mainstream land. Talking to the media the surrendered militants regretted the decision to join the terror organization. Talking to media, one of the surrendered militants Doberam Reang said that in their camp over 35 militants are employees and as per his best knowledge more 4 camps are existing actively in Bangladesh. The four persons were under an NLFT camp at Rangamati Dist of Bangladesh and they had escaped from the camp yesterday via hilly areas. Doberam Reang said, “It was a major mistake of ours to join the NLFT camp as they lured us with high salary and Swadin (Free) Tripura promises”.

4 NLFT militants have surrendered in Tripura with arms.

The surrendered NLFT militants are : 1) Doberam Reang (47), 2) Sailendra Reang (22), 3)Samprai Debbarma, (46), 4) Subalal Tripura.

Reportedly they fled away from the Bangladesh camp and surrendered to Tripura police.
