AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): People of Bishramganj Chechuri Mai area blocked roads in front of the main gate of the District Police superintendent's office in Bishramganj demanding repair of the road. They claimed after light rain the road became very slippery that the road became very slippery and almost every day minimum 4-5 accidents happen in this road.

Angst locals blockade the road, after a 4-wheeler met with an accident on Sunday around 7.30 am. In this accident the driver was injured.

Upon receiving the news, the police of Bishramganj PS rushed to the spot and removed the blockade with an assurance to repair the damaged road.

Allegations raised that NHDCL, a construction company, has done substandard work from Amtali to Udaipur area. Now it remains to be seen what action the state government will take against the NHDCL Company for the substandard work.
