AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): A vehicle parts shop burnt into ashes at a place adjacent to Punjab National Bank in Sabroom Bazar.

On Monday morning local people of Sabroom Bazar noticed massive fire broke in a shop named Rahul Enterprise adjacent to Punjab National Bank. After receiving the news from locals Fire Brigade personnel rushed to the spot, brought the fire under control later.

The owner of Rahul Enterprise said that there were small and big batteries, mobiles, bikes and various spare parts of vehicles in the shop and everything was burnt to ashes.

The cause of the fire is not known yet but primary investigation shows the devastating fire broke out due to short circuit. If the fire was not extinguished in time a major accident could happen in the entire area.
