AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): As per World Health Organisation (WHO), in every 40 seconds there is someone who ends his or her life. Indian Psychiatric Society Tripura state branch observed ‘World Suicide Prevention Day’ in Agartala.

Every year on 10 September, World Suicide Prevention Day is observed which is aimed to prevent suicides. 

Though last year due to Covid surge ‘World Suicide Prevention Day’ was not observed but this year observing covid in control Indian Psychiatric Society Tripura branch observed this day by organizing a rally. The rally organizers gave a message through this programme towards people that those who are suffering with suicidal thoughts must take help of counsellors.
