AGARTALA, Sept 5 (TIWN): Due to Traffic department's negligence road mishap occurred on Charilam National Highway among Truck- TR01C1702 and a Wagon-R vehicle registered number- TR01S0520.

A pedestrian alleged that often minor and major accidents occurred due to negligence of the Traffic Department as Traffic Police stays often missing in the Charilam Bazar area. A person was injured in the accident. 

However, eyewitnesses rescued the injured person and took him to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment

Locals have demanded a permanent traffic system in the Charilam market to avoid such accidents in the area.
