AGARTALA, Aug 31 (TIWN): BJP MLA Bhagaban Das whose name was shortlisted for a new Cabinet Minister likely to be under trouble soon. Trinamool leader Subal Bhowmik who earlier many times alleged that BJP has a lot of MLAs with fake certificates now has said that the speculated Minister, MLA Bhagaban Das is too carrying a fake certificate of SC community. Already controversy erupted as Bhagaban Das's qualification is too narrow for any Minister's post in Tripura like Educated state. He is just an eight passed and now the fresh allegation brought by Subal Bhowmik has triggered further controversy. In explanation, Subal Bhowmik said that Bhagaban Das's sister was in CPI-M party and was suspended by Unakoti DM from Municipality post due to her "fake SC Certificate" long back. So, naturally, Bhagaban Das's certificate is also fake. TMC has demanded an investigation in the matter.

Bhagaban Das recently was found in a Chit Fund scam and massive corruption with land issues. The allegation was brought by Congress leader Birjit Sinha recently but no clarification was given by the MLA about the controversy.
