AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): A young man was seriously injured in a road accident. The accident occurred at Sunamganj Bazar area under Bishalgarh PS.

It is learned that a 32-year-old man named Raju Debnath lost control while riding bike and fell into a ditch on the roadside as soon as he came to Sunamganj Bazar area of Bishalgarh PS.

The locals rescued the youth and took him to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital from where he was referred to Tripura Medical College (TMC) Hospital as his injuries were serious.

He is currently undergoing treatment at Tripura Medical College (TMC) Hospital in critical condition.
