Reportedly, the Kalamchoura police had a tip off and based on that they have raided one car at Boxanagar area. After searching, police seized huge amount of cough syrup bottles and other contraband items from the car. The car was coming from Bishalgarh area to smuggle the contraband items in Bangladesh. Although the car driver escaped from the place after seeing the police. 

 

The Market value of the seized items will be more than 1 lakh, said the police. The Kalamchoura police registered a case on this matter and started investigating.
