KAILASHAHAR, Dec 21 (TIWN): The local conference of Tripura Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasava, Goldharpur local committee concluded at Goldharpur Community Hall, Kailasahar today. In this conference the delegates strongly demanded for the formation of Bishnupriya Manipuri Development Council. Besides, they demanded for appointment of teachers in Bishnupriya Manipuri language, introduction of Bishnupriya Manipuri language up to 12th standard.

In the conference total 90 elected delegates took part. All the delegates strongly voiced in favor of the demands. It is worthy to mention that, in 36 schools Bishnupriya Manipuri language is used as a medium of instruction for primary level. But the schools lack of adequate teachers and subject teachers.
