AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): All India Students Association (AISA) demanded to conduct the examinations under the Tripura University as per the schedule.
AISA member Kaushik Das said that on 23rd August, all the examinations of all Colleges have been postponed and in protest the AISA members came to meet the Vice Chancellor.
But the Vice Chancellor did not meet the students and also the AISA members were not allowed to enter the University.
"The Vice Chancellor will not meet us and he did the same before. Because he knows, we will demand for the welfare of the students but the question is --- whether the University is for the Vice Chancellor or the Students ? We will not compromise. In no way, exams can be postponed or cancelled, because it is the matter of students' future", said AISA member Kaushik Das.
He further said, "Even after taking online exams in various courses, heavy fees are being kept from the students ? It also has to stop. This is just financial loot by the Vice Chancellor".
