AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): As per the population, Tripura ranks second in the unemployment rate.
Addressing media in Agartala, Trinamool West Bengal MP Dr. Santanu Sen said, "As per population Tripura is the second topper in unemployment rate. In this condition, what was the need of allowing other states' youths to appear in the JRBT exams ? We respect all states' people but first we have to feed ourselves and then only we can feed others ! Moreover, there are allegations of ill interest of the Govt behind the decision which needs to be clarified".
"We are surprised with the decision of the Govt. By allowing other states' people, Tripura Govt has directly fueled more unemployment chances further inside the state. PRTC should have been made mandatory but it was not done. It is not fair", said the MP.
