AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress MP Dr Santanu Sen has thrown a question to Chief Minister Biplab Deb whether it is true that Tripura Govt has become a guarantor of Rs. 500 crores for a Gujarat based company ? MP Dr Santanu Sen was addressing the media in a joining programme organized by Trinamool. He said, "As an MP, I would like to ask Tripura Govt about the light-house project which is underway at the Akhaura Checkpost area. The project was given to a company named 'Mitsumi Housing Private Limited' which has become a controversy. Critics also questioned the tendering system but my point is not there. My question is, whether it is true that Tripura Govt has become guarantor of Rs. 500 crores for this private company in Bank of Baroda ? My question is for Tripura CM Biplab Deb and if it is not true then he must clarify by 24 hours or we will accept that it is true and if it is really true then it's cheating the people of Tripura".

Ironically when Tripura Govt has become guarantor for that private company, terminated 10323 teachers are reeling under tension, dying due to bank pressures for clear loans, but Govt has not helped the terminated teachers yet.
