AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): On 75th Independence Day, Bengal Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Dola Sen, Aparupa Poddar were brutally attacked in Sabroom by BJP miscreants.
In that attack, many people were injured including local party members.
Today, Bengal Law Minister Moloy Ghatak met one of the victims Tapan Datta in his home today.
Talking to the media, injured Tapan Datta said that the people who attacked on them are most likely hired goons and professionals.
Bengal Law Minister Moloy Ghatak has condemned the attack and said, by such attacks, BJP can not stop Trinamool Congress amid increasing support for the party in Tripura.
"People of Tripura love peace and Trinamool Congress will restore the peace here..........", said Moloy Ghatak.
