AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): Tripura Congress Incharge Dr Ajoy Kumar claimed in Delhi that Pijush Biswas has withdrawn his Resignation letter and to continue work as Tripura Congress State President until he (Dr Ajay KUmar) arrives in Tripura. Most likely on 28th August, National Congress leaders will come in Tripura and to discuss the issue. National Congress also have requested Pijush Biswas not to quit party till then. Talking to media in Congress Headquarter in Delhi, Dr Ajay Kumar who has been appointed as Tripura Congress incharge said that he talked to Pijush Biswas over phone and now Pijush Biswas has accepted his request to take back the resignation letter. "Mr Biswas is a very honest man. Out of sentiment and due to local issues, he took the ultimate decision. But Pijush Biswas also conveyed his love and respect for Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi. I think, there are some issues and we are going to fix it". However, from Pijush Biswas, no statement before media has come yet who announced his resignation from State Congress President post today at 2 pm.
