AGARTALA, Aug 20 (TIWN): Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman on Friday while addressing in Agartala Sukanta Academy in Power Dept organized award distribution programme said that previous Govts have burdened the present Govt with lots of problems which are now faced by the TSECL and the Power Dept.
"It is true that we received power to govern but it is also a fact that along with power, we have lots of problems as legacy.......to end these problems, our employees are working day night", said Jishnu Debbarman.
"All the problems which are now being faced by the Power Dept were not created by our Govt but as inheritors of the previous Govt, we owned these problems", Debbarman said.
"I am a son of this state. I studied here. I am not from outside and so I know what kind of quality there was in the electricity services............however, electricity is important. In no way, it can be compromised. It does not matter how far you work and how much the services are improved but public demands will be rising day by day........it's natural. Because in this modern era, without electricity, it's impossible to exist", the Deputy CM said to the TSECL employees.
