AGARTALA, Aug 19 (TIWN): Brutal attack was organized by BJP goons on CPI-M leader Dilip Das at Bamutia.

The incident took place at Shanti Para Bamutia.

 Dilip Das is the Tafashili Jati Samannoy Samiti Vice President and a popular leader in Mohanpur division.

However, observing the disturbance, local people rushed to save him. Seeing the crowd, the BJP patronized miscreants escaped from the spot. His driver has narrowly escaped from major injuries. 

Tension prevails in the area.
