AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): President of Indian National Trinammol Trade Union Congress (INTTUC) Ritabrata Banerjee has lashed out at the Biplab Deb led BJP Govt in Tripura for massive political pressures putting upon the hotels, uncountable attacks happening on Trinamool leaders, members. Talking to media in Agartala, Ritabrata Banerjee said, "Before the election, BJP leaders booked a total hotel in Kolkata but nobody put any restriction because it is their fundamental right but in Tripura, the way political pressures are being imposed on the hotels by BJP it reminds me about 1930's Germany's era. Today, Fundamental Rights are violated in Tripura under Biplab Deb. This is just the echo of the Germany Dictator rule. The way Sayani was asked not to discuss politics by hotel staff, this is just a direct attack on the fundamental rights of the citizens. What I will speak, what I will do, it's my fundamental right".
"Earlier also, the hotel authority told us not to stay here as it is hampering their business. The Government is now bringing GST irregularity allegations against the hotel. My question is, where was the Govt and Municipality Corporation when the hotel existed before Trinamool came into the state ? Just after Trinamool got a ground in Tripura, GST irregularities started", he asked.
The Trinamool leaders also said that the power inside the hotel has been cut since 12 noon today as Trinamool had a schedule with journalists. As a result, the leaders addressed the media outside the hotel.
