AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): In an embarrassing moment for Tripura, state's one and only 5-Star-hotel's cheap behaviour with guests due to ruling BJP's political pressure has spoiled the reputation of the state once again. In a shocking outcome of political pressure, it was seen in a live video shared by filmstar cum Trinamool Youth wing President Sayani Ghosh that the hotel was not providing her group food as due to political pressure, the food court had cancelled the order. Such an incident earlier never happened in any 5-Star-Hotel in the entire country. The waiters and then manager were seen requesting Sayani Ghosh not to hold any political meeting or discussion there. However, she argued, in which rulebook it has been written that the hotel will decide what talk should be held by its guests ? One of the guests also asked, in West Bengal also Hotel Polo Towers is existing and do the hotel employees in Bengal behave with guests like this ?

This is not the first time that a hotel has come under political pressure in Tripura under the BJP Govt but in Hotel Woodland Park, last month Biplab Deb Govt house arrested I-PAC team members which turned a national controversy. 

Questions raise : 

1) By pressuring hotels, can Biplab Deb stop political parties' entries in Tripura ?

2) Did not BJP book the Sonar Tari Hotel in 2016-18 when BJP was the opposition party in Tripura ?

3) Didn't BJP leaders stay in Kolkata hotels during Election campaigning ?

4) Who will invest in Tripura if the ruling party continues attacks in industries, hotels like this ? 

Earlier, Hotel Sonar Tori was closed illegally for some time, after the Hotel allegedly sought pending bills from BJP and Biplab Deb's staff in Secretariat.
