According to the details of the incident, the housewife identified as Selina Khatune, daughter of Michil Miah of Harihardula area of ​​Konaban, got married to Abdul Alim, son of Ali Azzam Miah of Fultali Noapara area 10 years ago. After the marriage, their family was going well for some time, but the housewife's husband Abdul Alim went to Saudi Arabia in search of work. Taking this opportunity his wife allegedly got involved with another man. 

On yesterday night after giving sleeping pills to her mother-in-law she tried to steal the gold jewelleries and cash when her father-in-law caught her red handed. Seeing her father-in-law she allegedly started beating him. In this incident another man identified as Fokran Ali was helping her, said the father-in-law. 

Unable to bear their beating anymore,  the old father-in-law fled from there. After taking gold ornaments and money from the house, the housewife ran away with Fokran Ali.

Later on Tuesday, a case was filed against the accused Forkan Ali and the housewife Selina Khatune for attempting murder. Now police is investigating the matter.
